Honestly? We're figuring it out. This is early days β a room above a pub, a few laptops, and people who want to show each other what they're building. That's it.
If you've been to MeasureCamp, you'll recognise the freeform, community-first energy. If you remember the early days of Brighton SEO - before the conference centre, when it was just a bunch of people in a pub who cared about the same thing - that's closer to what we're going for.
Some of us cut our teeth at the Brighton Analytics meetup, which eventually became Crap Talks Brighton. Same DNA here: no pretence, no production value, just people sharing what's actually working.
Measurelab is behind this. There'll be money behind the bar for the first few rounds. Beyond that, you're on your own. πΊ
For the first event we're expecting a small group - and that's the point. No tickets, no registration fees, no lanyard energy. We'll set up a Meetup.com page so we know roughly who's coming, but that's just headcount. Turn up, bring a laptop if you want to, share what you're working on if you feel like it.
We're all learning. This space is moving fast and nobody has it figured out yet - that's the whole point. Sharing what you're trying, what's working, what's not - that's how we all get better. Contributing matters, even if your setup is held together with tape and good intentions.
Come for the buzz, stay for the vibes. π
Who knows where it goes from here. That's the fun part.
We've been in digital analytics since Urchin was a thing. We're Measurelab, a UK analytics consultancy, and for most of our existence the work looked roughly the same: help clients understand their data, build dashboards, fix tracking, repeat.
Then in late 2025 we started running AI agents in production β not as a novelty, but as part of how we actually work. Multiple agents, orchestrated together, handling things that used to take us hours. A swarm.
We went looking for other data and analytics people doing the same thing in the UK. Engineers, consultants, analysts β people who've been in the trenches and are now figuring out what agents mean for how we work.
We couldn't find a community. So we're starting one.
The name works on two levels. In our world, a swarm is multiple agents working together, orchestrated by context. But it's also just people β coming together, sharing what they know, making each other better. That's the bit that matters.
Who knows where it goes. That's the point.
